Your bridge to certificate equivalency
Study Bridge is a website that serves as a bridge to help students transfer their qualifications and certificates from countries outside the United States into the American education system. Many students arrive in the United States with university degrees, diplomas, transcripts, and important work experience from their home countries. Some of them had good jobs or strong qualifications, but when they arrive in America, they do not know where to start or how to use their previous education correctly.
Many students may ignore their certificates or begin their studies again, even though they were qualified and capable in their home countries. This does not happen because their certificates are not important. It happens because they do not know the required steps and because the certificate equivalency process can be complicated. Sometimes, students do not know which documents they need, whether they need to translate their certificates, where to send their documents, or how to choose the right evaluation service.
The goal of Study Bridge is to make this journey clearer and easier. The website provides simple and organized information about the certificate equivalency process. It explains the basic steps that visitors may need before applying to a college, a job, or a professional program. It also helps students understand the importance of official certificates, transcripts, certified translations, and education evaluation services.
The website does not evaluate certificates by itself and does not replace official organizations. However, it shows students the path and gives them a good starting point. Instead of searching through many different websites, students can use Study Bridge to understand the topic in general and then move to the right resources.
We want every student to feel that their previous education has value and that moving to a new country does not mean they must start everything from the beginning. Study Bridge helps international students organize their documents, understand their steps, and make the right decision with more confidence. Our goal is to reduce stress, save time, and help students reach education and job opportunities that match their qualifications and experience.
When I started this class, I did not know much about website design. I learned step by step. First, I learned how to reserve a website name on a server. Then I started building the pages with HTML. After that, I learned how to use CSS to style the pages. Now I am learning Bootstrap to make the website look better and work on different screen sizes. My website, Study Bridge, is designed to help students from outside the United States understand the process of evaluating their certificates. The server setup steps and starting CSS were difficult for me. With practice, they became easier. One problem I had was that my website did not update. I fixed it by making sure I uploaded the files to the server.
